Preference will be given to projects with long-lasting, sustainable impact.     We are helping to launch a new community impact investment fund from Nov 9 - Dec 14 The East Kootenay Columbia Community Investment Co-op are seeking founding members who want to make an impact in the East Kootenay Columbia region. Their Business Planning Committee, lawyer and co-op developer have completed the final review and we have scheduled our public launch sessions.     The Kimberley and District Chamber of Commerce held Kimberley’s annual business excellence awards on October 19th at the Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre.  The event included a presentation on Disruptive Technology and its impacts on communities by Jim Harris.  Mr. Harris is a recognized authority on changes in business and changes expected to communities in the new era of shared economies within industries.
