Welcome to the Kimberley & District Chamber of Commerce


The Kimberley and District Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1923 with the goal of furthering the interests of local businesses. Our mission is to serve as leaders in the promotion, development, growth and prosperity of business in our community.

Our goals include the delivery of Best Practices in governance, communication, community partnerships and member value.

The Chamber is incorporated under the Board of Trade Act and is composed of a volunteer board of directors, the Chamber General Manager, regional business members and community partners.

    The Platzl Light Up will be this Saturday, November 19th at 6:30. The Kimberley Community Choir will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the arrival of our annual special guest from the North. Last year, over 200 children had their picture taken with Santa. It will be a beautiful night for hot chocolate, dinner and shopping.

    The 3rd Annual Business Expo will be held on October 20th at the Conference Centre in Kimberley, from 5-9 p.m..  We are partnering with the Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce to host regional business experts.  Come out and learn about opportunities about wage subsidies, access to capital, learn about starting a business, turn-key opportunities, entrepreneurs with disabilities programming and more.

    Community Futures
    CFEK promotes economic development and the creation of jobs and wealth in our region by providing small-business loans for start-up, expansion or the purchase of existing businesses. In addition to financial support, CFEK offers a variety of business-related services, including knowledgeable, professional business consultation and access to training for entrepreneurs and their employees.

    Women’s Enterprise Centre
    Women's Enterprise Centre was established in 1995 by Western Economic Diversification Canada to assist women in starting and growing businesses in BC. Since then, we've grown to become the leading business resource for BC women who own a business or are thinking of starting a business. We provide essential business services and resources, as well as referrals to many resources and other business service providers throughout the province.

    Ktunaxa Nation Council Employment & Training
    The Ktunaxa Nation Council has been offering a wide range of training, employment and related services for over 20 years. As the new Education and Employment sector, we continue to offer high quality services out of our new Service Center.  Located at the Ktunaxa Nation Government Building and are open Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm including lunch hour.  Their resource includes:Daily updated job board
